POCTRN Announces Six New Innovation Award Opportunities
The Point of Care Technology Research Network (POCTRN) has launched six new funding opportunities to accelerate the development of promising point-of-care technologies.
We are seeking applications from academic and industry innovators advancing solutions in chronic disease, infectious disease, and disease prevention. Priority areas include cancer detection; heart, lung, blood, and sleep disorders; sexually transmitted infections (STIs); and emerging infectious diseases in low-resource settings, among others.
Each POCTRN center offers distinct award programs, with funding opportunities of up to $150,000. Selected teams may also receive up to 12 months of in-kind support services designed to help de-risk technologies, strengthen clinical alignment, and move projects closer to real-world implementation.
