Needs Screening and Selection

Prioritized list of needs developed and rational for why the proposed need was selected.
A great solution to a poor problem is not as valuable as a poor solution to a great problem! Spend the time now to make sure that the problem/need you plan to address is worth the time/ money and is likely to impact patent care if a solution can be found.
Screen the needs through a successive set of filters, with the criteria tightening and information requested increasing at each step. Follow the Stanford BioDesign process to document the process and describe the need selected.
