Works-Like-Looks-Like prototypes

Prototypes that work like and look like the intended product that are built under controlled conditions and can be used in testing.
Getting to the final form factor and intended functionality as quickly as possible will allow you to get much better feedback from users and provides guidance for further product design and development.
These prototypes are usually not made like the intended product. They are usually handmade in a prototyping shop and may not use the same materials as the intended design – but should be as close as possible and fabricated in a controlled way consistent with the testing to be done (human vs non-clinical).
